The Sipt'art team
We are excited to introduce you to the team behind the Sipt'art brand! Though the current Sipt'art team may be small, it is undoubtedly mighty, made up of two dedicated and talented members. Many of you are already familiar with one of them, Réka Siptár. Réka founded the Siptár brand, which was the predecessor of what is now Sipt'art, back in 1996. From the very beginning, she started designing and producing colorful, hand-painted clothing that would come to define the brand. Over the years, the company has experienced many changes, growing larger at times and smaller at others. There was once a store on the boulevard and another on Király Street, but those have since closed. Despite the fluctuations, Réka has always remained the heart and soul of the company. She currently resides in Pilisszentlászló with her daughter and continues to be the driving force behind the brand. At Sipt'art, Réka is responsible for artistic direction, designing the unique clothing and patterns that the brand is known for, and overseeing the production process from start to finish.
The other half of this dynamic duo is Ildi Coen, who joined Réka just last year. Together, they co-founded Miooluna Design Ltd., the parent company of Sipt'art Clothing Manufactory. Réka and Ildi's friendship goes back nearly 20 years, as they first met at KREA Art School 😱. Ildi brings a rich and diverse professional background to the team. Initially graduating as an economist, she later shifted her focus towards interior design. During and after the birth of her children, she pursued further studies in interior design at KREA. For the past two decades, Ildi has worked as an accomplished interior designer. Her expertise now benefits Sipt'art, where she plays a vital role in artistic direction, managing marketing efforts, and running the webshop. Ildi, along with her husband and three daughters, divides her time between Budapest and London, expertly balancing work and family life.
What makes the Sipt'art team special is their shared commitment to creative expression and their passion for sustainable, high-quality fashion. Réka's artistic vision, combined with Ildi's background in design and marketing, forms the perfect partnership.
